Our philosophy is simple – manage the process in a cost-effective way that will drive claims resolution.
Workers’ compensation
We help improve our clients’ workers’ compensation programs and increase savings by resolving complicated claim issues.
- Our examiners complete investigations promptly to determine compensability and ensure claims are carefully evaluated before reserves are set.
- We follow a set of established best practices and our team provides ongoing communications and updates throughout the process.
- In addition, clients and their employees can view and track claims details online using our proprietary viaOne suite of tools, which offers convenient, secure access to real-time claims information.

Safety and risk control
We offer a wide range of risk control consulting services such as safety training, safety and ergonomic surveys, web-based training, industrial hygiene sampling and noise surveys.
We also offer a Safety Academy Certification programme and other accident prevention and safety programs to reduce claim frequency and severity.

Stay at work programme
The Stay at Work (SAW) programme is a financial incentive option offered by the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries. The programme encourages employers to bring injured workers quickly and safely back to light duty or transitional work by reimbursing them for wages and some of the cost for job-related training, tools or clothing that may be needed. Our examiners coordinate and track SAW recoveries and can help employers apply for reimbursements.

Group retro programme
This programme provides employers with an opportunity to receive refunds on workers’ compensation premiums. Participation can help them lower their experience factor, which lowers overall workers’ compensation costs. On average, retro refunds range between 25–30 percent; however, the savings in programme benefits and resources far exceed the refunds. We offer services to support employers including claims management, education and training, safety consulting, compliance assistance and more.

Return to work
A return to work programme provides you with alternatives to time loss and allows you to keep workers’ compensation costs low. The goal is to return injured workers to gainful employment as soon as possible to control claims costs.
